LEARN ACROSS THREE STUDIOS (ROTATION)

 

Students gain experience across Newtone’s active studio network, allowing them to observe different teaching environments and client populations. From mastering technical foundations in Voula, to developing private teaching skills in Kifisia and experiencing the energy of group instruction in Exarcheia, students graduate with a broader understanding of the profession and the confidence to adapt to different teaching environments.

 

 

FAQs

 

The Comprehensive Pilates Reformer Instructor Programme is designed to be completed over 10 weeks.

Scheduled Academy training takes place on Saturdays and Sundays from 13:00 to 19:00, making the programme accessible to students who work or have other commitments during the week.

The 140-hour programme includes practical and theoretical education, studio observation, supervised teaching practice and final assessments. Observation and teaching-practice hours are completed across Newtone's three active studios alongside the weekend training schedule.

Students should therefore expect to complete the full programme—including all practical requirements and assessments—within 2.5 months.
Weeks 1–8: Weekend Academy training + observation/teaching practice during the week
Week 9: Completion of remaining observation/teaching requirements + preparation
Week 10: Final assessments
To receive the Newtone Comprehensive Reformer Instructor Certification, students must:
  • Complete all 140 contact hours.
  • Meet the attendance requirement (minimum 80%).
  • Complete all observation hours.
  • Complete all supervised teaching practice hours.
  • Submit the professional portfolio.
  • Pass the written examination.
  • Pass the practical exercise examination.
  • Pass the practical teaching examination.
